I got a brand new track today from OvaTyme called “Come Ova Here”.
The track features Ben Gahzi who is a well known musician in the area. That’s right, I said musician!
For all of you who don’t know who Ben is, he was the man behind the beats for TOPM Records for the longest, produced music for Hood Slang Records, and has even taken on playing the guitar in a band.
I talked with OvaTyme a few days ago when he sent me a preview of his upcoming mixtape. From what I have been hearing, it’s a late 80′s sound with a Florida twist. He described it best when he said: “takes me rite back to 88 and the all nite skate, ya digg”.
