Black Wall Street’s X.O: I Don’t Sell Dope…

I wrote and article a few days back called “Thin line between Real and Fake” , and in that article I went in deep on how these now day rappers feel like they have to rap about “Dope” and other things they never did.

I stated in the article that you don’t have to sell dope or be a two time felon to be considered a “Real N*gga”. In X.O’s new single “Getting Money” X.O addresses just that. For those of you not familiar with the name, X.O is member of the BWS (Black Wall Street) movement, which is the Game’s version of G-unit.

Although Game is a mayor Hip Hop figure, X.O is a hungry up and coming underground artist working from the bottom up. He’s far from the bottom and a ways from the top, but with hits like this his future looks bright.

I’m feeling the track. It just goes to show that rappers who don’t “sell dope” can get respect and make a name for themselves.
