In a time when ABC rap and bubble gum lyrics are now acceptable, there’s may be hope after all. Pop Dollarz is and young bright Mc’s from the Bronx with mad potential. When I first picked up the Bronx Tales mixtape I thought I was listening to a grown man spit. I had my pod on shuffle so I missed the part where Pop stated he was only 15 year old. 15? No way!
When you think of young rappers you think back on rappers like Lil Bow Wow, and Romeo, but this kid has swag and flow better then a Young Wayne from back in the day. The most impressive thing about Pop Dollarz is fact he doesn’t use any profanity in his rhymes, yet when you listen to his music you wouldn’t notice. The way Pop puts words together is done in such a dope way your mind isn’t focusing on the fact that he isn’t using any profane words. Although he’s 15 years old he’s a smart and intelligent young man who clearly understands the business of the industry. The more songs you can get played on the radio, the bigger the check.
Bronx Tales is by far one the hottest mixtape I’ve heard this year. I’m going to make a bold prediction, Pop Dollarz who is only 15 years old, will be a mayor hip hop star within the next year 2 years. I said it, and I going to stand by that! Young nephew spits and goes harder then most grown rapper I know. To date (March 11, 2010) Pop Dollarz has received the most stars of any mixtape so far. I’m giving him 7.5 out of 10 stars. Everyone knows I’m a tough grader, but these 7.5 stars were well earned. Only reason why the grade isn’t higher is for the simple fact he has room to get better. We’re going to be keeping an eye on Pop Dollarz’s career, so keep it locked daily right here on Skewln.com
