Beefing and battle is nothing new to hip hop. How appropriate is this flashback joint at this current moment, it couldn’t come at a better time. Although many would think that battling in hip hop is some new immature tactic, history shows its been going on since the beginning of hip hop.
We can take it back to Kool Moe Dee and Busy Bee, Eazy-E and Dr. Dre, Canibus and LL Cool J, Ice Cube and N.W.A . Believe or not, even the legendary Common was involved in a beef/battle with the Westside Connection. And we can’t forget the crazy battle between Nas and Jay-z. C’mon, who can’t remember “Ether”?
But with all that said the most memorable battle was none other then 2pac verses Biggie. Hit ‘em up in my opinion is the most vicious battle track ever.
