Sugar Tongue Slim: Demand More 2 (Mixtape Review)

Sugar Tongue Slim (No Homo) thats his name, better known as STS is a dope up and coming artist from Atlanta, GA.  I came across his tape on one of the hip hop site. I was very impressed with his lyrical ability, and versatility. Its not everyday I come across pure talent, but STS has it hands down.

There’s a couple of tracks that stood out for me one called “What She Say”, where he’s talking about the struggles of an up and coming artist. Artist some times have to lend on a strong friend which there’s no better friend then your mother. He states ” I’m not a moma’s boy, but I’m my moma’s boy”. Thats profound if you really understand the quote.

The second track is called “All Comes Around” where he talks about the cycle of the rap game. He tells a story of his struggles through the years and how he’s come from the bottom back to where he is now. He addresses his Def Jam deal and meeting Jay, to getting in a wreck and losing the  deal.

As a whole the “Demand More 2″ mixtape was dope, the lyrics, multies, and beat section was on point. I wish I had the opportunity to listen to more project like this, more so I strongly recommend you download this mixtape if your into strong lyrics and multies. Skewln.com will have more on STS in the days to come.
