B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray (Album Review)

I’m a little behind on this one, I’m normally right on top on the new up and coming artists, but this one made it past me.

I’m not a huge fan of listening to the radio because they play the same garbage songs 24/7. Occasionally, I turn on the radio to hear whats hot, most of time I hear a Gucci Mane song every ten minutes. Thats cool if thats what you like.

Most of the time I hear a song but I have not idea who the artist is. This was one of those cases where I heard a few songs from B.o.B, but I wasn’t aware of who he was.

I remember hearing “Nothing on You” and a few other tracks, but  B.o.B flew under my radar until I heard “Airplanes”. When I heard the track I had to Google the man and acquire his album. One word sums up his album “Wow”

B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray is a very unique album, more so very creative. The  creativity on this album is phenomenal. Bobby Ray, better known as B.o.B, is from the south , but the album sounds nothing like an South album. This may bother some from the south, but I encourage you to give the album a chance.

From top to bottom the album is dope. Sick flow, dope lyrics, epic beats, and a international appeal makes this album a winner in my book. The album takes you on an adventure, I could see this album being a soundtrack or a score to a big time Hollywood film.

“Airplanes” is B.o.B’s brand new single. There’s two parts to the song, but don’t worry Skewln.com has them both. Enjoy the Exclusive

I’ve been a fan of B.O.B. from some time now. He is a definite talent and will be in the game for some time due to his versatilty. He caught my attention a few summers back with “Haters” (i believe that was the name of the trk) and with his recent features and releases, Im still a fan!

If you haven’t already cop it!

    (good review!!)

B.O.B.’s album is ridiculously incrediable!!! his album is mad unique and creative from the topics to the lyrics. i been following ol boy since the freshman cover of the xxl for the 2009 issue and hes been bringing real hip hop to the table. its crazy cause when you think of southern rappers you think of ignorant non lyrical idiots with no lyrics or skills and only talk about drugs.. sigh…… lol. hes really making a name for the south.
