Well, well, well…with all the drama going on in the 850, Skeezy finally dropped the anticipated mixtape, and it’s hosted by Skewln.com‘s very own Mike Real!
I say finally dropped because it has been a year in the making, but don’t get his work ethic confused; Skeezy is 100% business…who can squeeze time for beef in. (He was the first to drop 110 bars in the area)
For all of you who don’t know, Skeezy is from Pensacola, Florida, but also resides in Fort Walton Beach. In fact, he is part of a team that includes Ducey Trayz, J-Riv, and Noody Boi.
I gotta say that I’m glad to see he got Mike Real back in the studio. It’s been too long since he hosted a mixtape. Without being considered biased, let me just say that if you want “Street Mixtape”, with an raw-unpolished sound, then this is for you.
“I Do This” brings back memories of the old Cash Money, mixed with New 850 swag. Skeezy shows his versatility on “Tornado Money”. The track features Marv Dash and definitely has an up north feel. A lot of Southern artists that I’ve come across sometimes have trouble making the transition, but I think the sound went smooth.
Overall, the mixtape is strong at 23 songs , and is for the streets…Point.Blank.Period!
