There’s a new sound coming out of the 850 aka the Fort. The Fort has produced artists like Ducey Trayz, J Riv , Hurk Deezy, Skinny P and countless of labels full of talent.
This sound is new to the fort, no chopping rocks, selling dope, or blowing brains out. No Beef… Just strictly music for entertainment.
Hurk Deezy sent this mixtape over to me and told me to check it out. He also introduced U.S.S a few days ago right here on Skewln.com. The group consist of four members: KV, Piff, Real Talk, Obizzle. No one in the group is older then 21.
One of the key things that stands out on this mixtape is the beat selection. Of course you have some industry beats along with some sound click beats , but the section was done damn near perfectly. Real is what it is has a Rock-star feel along with Surprise Party and I quote ” We just want to Party”.
If you be on them chewy’s Moon Walk might set your mind right. Its has a good feel to the song. Again another Rock Star vibe. What would a party mixtape be without a female track? No worries ladies Like a Drummer is just for you, literally.
The group is still new so you may have trouble figuring out who’s rapping at times, but the lyrics is better then expected on a large portions of the mixtape. By the time the next project drops i’m sure the individual personalities will find there place.
Underground Star Life the mixtape is a lot of fun, I’m not a smoker, but if you are you probably could just blaze up to this project. If you looking for some feel good music for the summer this is it. Its got a young feel to it. Nothing too serious. The mixtape is right at 80mins. I few tracks could’ve been left off the project but for the most part the mixtape is what it is, fun entertaining music.
