I have said it before, numbers don’t lie, but you have to be able to produce the actual numbers when needed. Last week, Jamie Drastik dropped a freestyle with rapper David Rush. You can hear the track right here!
Jamie blasted the news all over Twitter, and was featured on other music sites. I know we tweeted out our article about the new release, and I also personally retweeted some of Jamie’s.
I read over a ton of twitter replies where people absolutely were feeling the track, and I think, for the most part, that his Freestyle Drop was a success.
Well, I was right. His plays and overall views shot up over the two day period that he promoted. Check out the screenshots below:
He dropped it on June 9th.

Some may argue, well of course his numbers are going to jump during a promotion. True, but look at how much they jumped. The guy was able to reach a bunch of people and create a huge buzz for the two days. I know some people who drop songs and only get 11 plays.
While the growth didn’t remain constant, one thing is for sure; He got the song played my quite a few people, and that is what matters.
Make sure you check out the track, and keep it locked right here for info on Jamie Drastik.
Here is the Tweet he sent to Mike Real that morning.
