It’s official, my love for Myspace may be coming back thanks to the new design!
I had heard about the new design a while back when some screenshots were leaked, and couldn’t wait to actually see it live.
It’s no secret that I have a love/hate relationship with Myspace, and the layout has always been a problem.
With everyone abandoning ship for Facebook, the question is: Why did it take Myspace so long to roll out this feature?

- Plus, artists can upload more songs and feature up to 20 on your profile
As you know, I don’t have a Myspace page so I am having to search through pages to see it. I am amazed at how many rappers I know personally who have not upgraded.
I think the time of “I need the most elaborate Myspace Profile Design” is gone. If it’s not gone, it should be. I could care less what it looks like! Don’t get me wrong, a little color is nice and a custom header is cool too, but all the flash headers and custom DIVs are really annoying.
Clean and simple is the new thing. We want to be able to find your music, and have your page load on-time.
If you haven’t upgraded please do. I was able to look at rapper Freddy B‘s new page and it looks dope.

I just received word from the Product Marketing Manager at Myspace Music that they are showcasing the best profiles at MySpace ArtistHQ: http://mysp.ac/d69dgE.
If that isn’t motivation to upgrade, I don’t know what is….

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic
to be actually something which I think I would never understand.
It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
