MySpace Music has teamed up with Tunecore to provide artists with a limited-time discounted offer on distribution services.
It works like this: When you sign up for Tunecore through MySpace Music, you will receive 50% off of distribution fees for your first year of service.
We have covered TuneCore before, but if you are not familiar with the company and what they offer, here is the jist of it:
Tunecore allows you to enable digital download sales and earn revenue from your streams on MySpace Music, as well as other music services including iTunes, AmazonMP3, Rhapsody, and eMusic.
According to the Artist HQ Blog, artists who sign up for Tunecore through MySpace Music will receive an additional $50 credit to MyAds, allowing you to advertise to your target audience throughout the MySpace community.
Simply enter “tc50″ (without quotations) into the promo section when you sign up. Once your account is created, log in and you will see the credit in the billing section.
