Today, Myspace launched a dope new feature that allows you to sync your status updates from Myspace with Facebook and Twitter.
No more updated all three individually!
The service is not without flaws though. As Mashable’s Ben Parr noted, “The big thing that’s missing is the ability to share Facebook status updates on MySpace.” (Although, it is coming)
Aside from just status updates, artists will be able to share their links, photos, videos, and music.
This is a big deal since majority of artists still do quite a bit of networking on Myspace, while the rest of the population has moved to Facebook.
How To Sync!
- Click on the settings box in the update module on your Home page
- Check the box next to Facebook or Twitter (or both)
- Follow the steps prompted to sync your accounts
- Done! Your updates will now automatically sync. Or, check or uncheck which networks to share with each time you updated
To all our Indie Artists out there, we encourage you to sync your networks and give it a try. This could save you a lot of time, and allow you to get back to the music!
