So the Project finally made it on my desk. I was looking forward to this project for a few reasons. Most importantly I’m always excited to hear new projects. I like to see the next move the artist has chosen. I like to see growth.
Wolf Among Sheep is more aggressive then the mixtape Mac released earlier this year. The lyrics are stronger and the flows got sicker. The project is a hard east coast style project. As I stated about Misson To Marz. the project is not catchy in a sense of gimmicks. If you want gimmicks and fruit roll up rhymes, I suggest you go download a Soulja Boy or a Gucci mixtape.
I’m sure your familiar with the single Fever which was released a few weeks ago. The mixtape doesn’t stop there with tracks like You Know What It Is, Bustin’ In They Face, and my personally favorite, Destined For Greatness.
I wouldn’t consider the beats to be real flashy, but it got the job done. I would’ve liked to have seen a few more tracks on the mixtape. Its a short mixtape , sits right at 50minutes. I kind of feel like he pulled a J Riv on me which his mixtape only had 13 tracks, but in their defense they use originally beats. That’s always a plus.
Wolf Among Sheep is free, so there’s no reason not to have it. If you felt Mac Marz’s previous mixtape Misson to Marz then I’m sure you will enjoy this project as well. If your a Sheep you might want to grab a pen and a pad and come get this education before you get yourself eaten. Download the Wolf Among Sheep mixtape here
