Reverbnation’s “My Band” Facebook App Changes to “Band Profile”

Reverbnation has made a minor change to their hit Facebook app, “My Band”.

The minor change comes in the form of a new tab name. From now on the Facebook app will display the name, “Band Profile”.

This change comes from the need to make it more usable on Facebook “Fan Pages”.

Here is what Reverbnation said about the change:

While “My Band” worked well on artist’s personal profile pages, it just didn’t make sense to have a tab called “My Band” on Facebook fan pages (sometimes called band pages). We hope that this new tab name will be the best for artists who use it on their personal profile pages as well as their fan pages.
