I’m from the south, and most southerners in some sense have a church background somewhere in in our blood. I grew up listen to Christian rap as well as main stream. Artist like Kirk Franlin paved the way for allot of these Christian artists today.
Finding good Christian rap music is a hard thing to find. Me and my pop have this conversation all the time. My pop argues there are allot of good Christian emcees out there, I feel the opposite. I feel there are no question plenty of Christian emcees out there, but allot of them are corny. Many of them have “ABC” boo boo lyrics. Thats not a diss to Christian emcees, because it works the same in the mainstreams .
Many Christian emcees struggle with funding for their projects, but that doesn’t seem to the case with GodChaserz’s Brinson. It looks like Brinson has a good support base along with a good financial backing. Most importantly the man has a quality product on the table thats worth listening to. Check out Brinson’s brand new single Don’t Rap No More off his latest mixtape O.M.G.
We will have more on Brinson in the days to come. I plan on checking out his new album this week on the way to office. Make sure you download and support. To download click here

What’s good. I’m surprised your article was written in 2010 instead of 1990, lol. If you’re really unaware of quality Christian rap, please simply go on YouTube or iTunes and check out artists who regularly blow their mainstream counterparts out of the water in lyricism, production, subject matter, etc.: trip lee, lecrae, shai linne, timothy brindle, todd bangz, mahogany jones, stephen the levite, everyday process, r-swift, light da flow minista, braille, sivion … the list literally goes on and on. Anyway, thanks for the Binson review.
I think you may have misinterpreted Mike’s article and statements. He’s not saying that there are NO quality Christian rappers out there, he is saying that they are hard to find. He also said that some lack funding, which can make them even harder to find.
unaware? Smh….I honestly think she didn’t read the article. Yea definitely misinterpreted.
