There was speculation that J Riv was retiring. J Riv blames me for that, (Ha) thats cool. I was told directly he wasn’t worried about his music right now, but he was going to focus on taking care of his family. Tomato vs Tomäto.
I had to tease the man a little bit for only retiring for a week and a half. A week and a half homie, Damn! I mean he pulled a Jay-z on us. A week and a half went by now he talking bout “I’m back! What you want me to do” (Jay-z Voice).
On a serious note J Riv informed me he was “Not” retiring. If your in this music business you know some times you have to refresh. We all go through it at one point or another, but the one’s who really have a passion for it always returns to the game.
