It’s been a minute since we posted something about Nipsey Hussle. A quick search on Skewln shows that the last article we did on the Cali rapper was on December 21, 2010, when he dropped “The Marathon” mixtape.
After leaving Epic Records and returning to the indie scene, you aren’t seeing much coverage of Nipsey. In fact, it was only by chance that I found out about the documentary he is shooting with Jorge Peniche. Jorge is a photographer, director, visual artist, and journalist based out in California.
While there is no date set for the release of “The Marathon” documentary, Jorge says that is “is coming” and to “please be patient”. In fact, the doc might be complete. Hussle took to facebook and twitter in search of a “talented video editor in the L.A. area to work with on a special project.”
