Los Angeles rapper Kid Ink released his newest mixtape, “Daydreamer”, today. The mixtape is hosted by The Alumni, and is available on datpiff.com.
Last night, Kid Ink previewed the mixtape via Ustream on HotNewHipHop. I checked in on the conversation and there was a bunch of hype about the release. For those of you that missed the live streaming, you can still join in on twitter using the hashtag, #Daydreamer.
The West Coast rapper has been busy leading up to this release. Just one month ago Kid Ink released the “It’s On” official video, and then just one week ago he released “Lowkey Poppin” video. The track was produced by The Runners, and has gotten over 81,000 views as of this writing.
Just a few days ago, Kid Ink released “Star of the Show” that features Sean Kingston, and will be available on the mixtape as well.
“Live It Up”, Kid Ink’s official single off of the mixtape, features Mann, as well as production from Chrishan. Ink has reached out to his 93,000 facebook fans for support with getting his song on Power106 LA, and has even released a DJ Package. The package includes the clean and dirty versions, as well as the instrumental.
