The news of Kobe Bryant’s divorce settlement was music to Kobe hater’s ear, as they erupted all around the world in complete celebration.
Meanwhile, every married man and man contemplating getting married, is in total pandemonium after hearing the news of Kobe’s wife Vanessa walking away with all three mansions plus a nice check in the amount of $75 Million.
It’s sad we live in a time when people celebrate other people’s failures. Its one thing to root against Kobe Bryant the player, but his personal life…?
Let’s keep it in perspective here, there are kids involved here. While one side is overly joyed to see Vanessa win, the other side is furiously upset that Kobe “the man” is getting robbed.
“Bitch you wasn’t with me shooting in the gym”
In the words of Mr. Canada Dry … I mean Drizzy Drake. That statement may be true, but let’s take a deeper look at the situation.
It’s no secret Kobe was caught up on a national level like Tiger Woods with the sin of infidelity. He no doubtingly embarrassed his wife Vanessa on a national stage in front of the world which includes her family, friends, and peers.
Not only did he humiliate her, but to make matter worse he cheated on her with a white girl. Now, you’re probably asking yourself what does color have to do with this situation, but if you’re an minority you know exactly what I’m talking about.
This happens to be one of the unwritten golden rules that can be described as the unforgettable sin, more so in some cases the unforgivable sin.
Color shouldn’t matter in this case, but who are we kidding, it definitely does.
Although cheating should be looked at as cheating period, society some times makes its own rules and regulations.
So on top of him humiliating her, she stuck by him even while he faced a rape case that could not only end his professional career, but break up their family structure indefinitely.
To be unbiased, quite frankly I think she deserves a little sympathy in this scenario, fair; but $75 Million?!?!?
Listen, I’ve said time and time again rich athletes shouldn’t even waste their time getting married. What’s the point? I’ve even been on record for saying there’s groupies on every level, even in my field that includes the music industry and social media.
It’s nothing to find yourself in the middle of a HD POV film session with some girl who has two big hams like its Christmas. Or to be in the middle of a studio session with somebody’s baby mama with her legs stretched out “bold eagle” style.
It’s not uncommon to have someone’s wife posted up with you for a full weekend “Smutathon” at the near by Motel 6.
That happens on an independent music level, so what do you think happens to a person who made $57 Millions just last year…
Guys like Kobe get premium ass thrown in they face on a daily basis. Married with kids, but you still want to play the “game,” fine. I’m not here to judge. Do your thing.
To Kobe’s defense; yeah its true Vanessa wasn’t with you “shooting in the gym,” but Vanessa’s defense would be; I wasn’t with you while you was “shooting something else” either … and that’s the problem.
Is she worth $75 Million? I say hell no! Did she earn it? Hell no! That’s why they have prenups ….oh wait… there’s no prenup!?!?! Wow, that’s just the reality of the situation…
