Cristion D’or Graces Skewln’s First Digital Magazine Cover

The game has definitely changed in the last few years. The quality of music has fallen to an all time low it seems.Although we are in a time when young artists no longer need big labels to do big things, most young artists still seek the big time Major Label record deal.

Here at Skewln.com, we’ve been covering Indie artists for years now, and one thing we’ve found is that most artists after signing a big time deal change forever.

In some cases the artist’s music changes to a point where their hardcore “base fans” no longer relate or connect.

It’s no secret that Major Labels control the music to the point where 9 out of the 10 songs we hear today be 110% gimmicky bullshit.

No Gimmicks, Straight 100

Northeastern emcee Cristion D’or is a breath of fresh air to the game. There’s nothing gimmicky or lame about the man.

Over the last few years, Cristion & I have established a business/working relationship.

I’ve been covering him for a little over two years total, and one thing I will say about this man is that he is 100!

I’m On My P’s & Q’s….I Done Turned My Swag On, Now I can’t Turn It Off!

The Wrap Up

It is an honor to have Cristion D’or grace our first ever Skewln.com digital magazine cover. He’s stressed that it is an honor for him to be a part of the first ever edition.Everything we’ve seen from D’or so far has been done in house with his DraftPickz team.
I personally hope the young emcee stays Indie, so we can continue to see the Raw Cristion D’or we’ve come to know.Because quite frankly, I don’t think the Majors is ready for him.
