One of the easiest things to do after doing something successful is to kick back and take your foot off the gas pedal. Well, Cristion Dior saw it differently. In fact; not only did he step on the gas, he hit the tempo button as well.
Although the project is shorter than expected, the quality level of bars completely disrupts that level of thinking. The project is better than the first one and that’s saying something in itself. Normally an artist struggles to live up to a dope project.
A lot of times it was luck to begin with, so doing it a second time makes you certified. Some struggle in the ineptitude to do it the first time let alone do it twice, but Dior makes it clear his previous project was no fluke.
I could go track by track and highlight every single track, but it’s a free mixtape so there’s no need. All you have to do is listen to the first track to understand the severity of the situation. Oh it’s no joking matter; Dior is definitely serious about his place in the rap game.
In my interview with Dior a few months ago, Dior gave us a glimpse of the intro, but now you can hear the full version, and it’s phenomenal. Bar after bar, punch line after punch line they just kept coming. Of course the project has some features on it. What’s a mixtape without a little variety?
Features

Production
Vybes, Diamond Styles, Remo The Hitmaker, Dizzy Don Coda, and much more.
The Bottom Line
Overall Till Death Do Us Part Vol. 2 is an essential project for the Indie community. It reiterates the importance of having control of your own music, more so, the ability or enablement to take the needed time to get the project right without any deadlines, guidelines or borders.
Short project, but it’s a full balanced meal. It was definitely worth the wait. I’m told there’s a Till Death Do Us Part Vol. 3 dropping this October….
Well, the first two were dope, but I personally don’t think Cristion Dior can do it again a third straight time…. We’ll just have to wait and see… (Wink)
